Thurman Andrew Keplinger, 82, of Petersburg, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Keplinger was born Sept. 22, 1919, in Petersburg, a son of the late Olie and Mattie Keplinger Keplinger.
He married Myrtle Hose Keplinger, who preceded him in death in 1978.
Surviving are a special companion, Louise Westfall, Petersburg; two sisters, Emily Veach, Maysville, and Verda Shaffer, Cabins; and several nieces and nephews, including Ronald “Babe” Feaster, Petersburg, whom he raised.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Victor Keplinger; and a sister, Edna Feaster.
Mr. Keplinger worked for the West Virginia Department of Highways for several years.
He was a Methodist by faith.
