Velma Ketterman, 84, of Riverton, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, in Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg.
Mrs. Ketterman was born Aug. 23, 1917, in Riverton, a daughter of the late Veach Lambert and Alice Raines Lambert.
On March 16, 1938, she married William Glenn Ketterman, who preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 1994.
Surviving are a son, Ronald David Ketterman, Riverton; and a foster daughter, Karen Lynch, Chambersburg, Pa.
She was preceded in death by three sons and a daughter.
Mrs. Ketterman was a cook at Painter’s Restaurant at Seneca. She was a member of Brushy Run Mennonite Church.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends may call at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Larry Showalter, Fred Miller and Nelson Heatwole officiating. Interment will follow in North Fork Memorial Cemetery in Riverton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Pendleton Nursing Home.
