Flora Ellen Kitzmiller Cosner, 88, formerly of Mt. Storm, died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, in Hampshire Center in Romney, where she had resided since April 6, 2000.
Mrs. Cosner was born April 25, 1913, in Mt. Storm, a daughter of the late Walter Filmore Kitzmiller and Prudence Etalka Aronhalt Kitzmiller.
On Aug. 28, 1928, she married Amos O. Cosner, who preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1994.
Surviving are a daughter, Frances Alt and husband, Delmar, Petersburg; two sisters, Corene Shepard and Kathleen Rinker and husband, Luther, all of Mt. Storm; a sister-in-law, Mildred Cosner, Cumberland, Md.; a brother-in-law, Ray Cosner, Hampshire Center, Romney; a granddaughter, Tammy Pehowski, Winchester, Va.; and three great-grandchildren, E.J., Amanda and Desert.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Cosner was a member and deaconess of the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren.
