Tawney Johnson, infant daughter of Samuel “Sam” and Chastity Lantz Johnson of Route 1, Jenny Street, Philippi, passed away shortly after birth Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her maternal grandmother, Brenda K. Lantz, Mansfield Addition, Philippi; maternal grandfather Randy and wife, Maribeth Lantz, Ford Run Community, Philippi; paternal grandparents, Donald and Margaret Johnson, Union Community, Philippi; maternal great-grandparents, Lewis and Joelyn Ball, Mansfield Addition, Philippi; and paternal great-grandmother, Vonda Lantz, Ford Run Community, Philippi.
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St., Philippi, Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Graveside services will follow in Philippi Masonic Cemetery with Evangelist R.D. Ice officiating.
