Dorothy Wereley, 89, of Buckhannon, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.
Mrs. Wereley was born July 24, 1912, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Eugene Riley and Ethel Lottie Garrison Arbogast.
On Aug. 11, 1952, she married Jansen Wereley, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Nyla Ulanski, Naples, Fla.; a grandson, Bryan Pace, Chicago, Ill.; three nephews and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Arbogast.
Mrs. Wereley was a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of Buckhannon VFW Post 3663 Ladies Auxiliary, Buckhannon Chapter 5 DAV Ladies Auxiliary, state commander and later national executive committee women for the DAV Buckhannon Chapter 5. She was a Methodist by faith.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Charles Godwin and the Rev. Steve Bowser officiating. Interment will follow in Weston Masonic Cemetery in Weston.
