Edna Katherine Vogel, 84, of Buckhannon Manor, Buckhannon, died Feb. 21, 2002, in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Vogel was born in Buckhannon, May 2, 1917, a daughter of the late Amos and Edna Mae Fitzgerald.
She was married to Max Lewis Vogel, who preceded her in death on Oct. 18, 1976.
Surviving are one son, James L. Vogel and Lila M. See, Buckhannon; one brother, Amos Fitzgerald, Lima, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews, two of whom are Bonnie Morrison and Betty K. Blanchfield.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Mrs. Vogel was a Methodist by faith.
Funeral services were held Feb. 25 in Clarksburg. Interment was in the Shinnston Masonic Cemetery.
