Ernest Ervin Carr, 58, of Whitmer and a patient in Elkins Regional Convalescent Hospital, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Carr was born April 22, 1943, in Whitmer, a son of Marvie Elizabeth Mallow Carr, who survives in Whitmer, and the late Dewey Carr.
He was never married.
Also surviving are five brothers, Willy Lambert, Whitmer, Trevy Carr, Jacksonville, Fla., Hubert Carr, Everett, Wash., Shelby Carr, Holly, Mich., and Kelly Carr, Elkins.
Mr. Carr was a Pentecost by faith and attended Whitmer Church of God.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends may call at Whitmer Church of God Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. Joseph Mininger and the Rev. Steven Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Laurel Hills Cemetery near Whitmer. Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements.
