Richard Lee Biller, 66, a resident of Penn Laird, Va., and formerly of Belington, was pronounced deceased upon arrival Sunday morning, March 31, 2002, in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, while visiting friends. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected.
He was born Jan. 15, 1936, at Barbour County, a son of the late Earl R. and Virginia L. Biller.
He was twice married. First, he married the former Fay Wright, who survives. Second, in 1984, he married the former Linda Frey, who survives at their home.
Also surviving are three sons, Rick, Bobbie and Leonard Biller, all of Virginia; one daughter, Theresa Biller of Virginia; one stepson, Brian Cline of Grafton; two stepdaughters, Brandy Requeno and Christina Nix, both of Virginia; one sisters, Alberta McCauley of Belington; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Biller.
Mr. Biller was a graduate of Belington High School. He had been self employed. He was a member of Belington Masonic Lodge in Belington 125 AF & AM and was affiliated with the Jehovah Witnesses.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday until 11 a.m., the funeral hour, when services will be conducted from the funeral home parlor with Mr. Oren Kinneer officiating. At the request of the family his remains will be cremated.
