Vanessa Lynn Cooper, infant daughter of James Donald “J.D.” and Stephanie Watkins Cooper of Elkins, went to be with the Lord Monday evening, May 13, 2002, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. God sent this little angel into the lives of her parents and twin sister, Victoria Marie Cooper; her paternal grandparents, Richard and Vickie Wilfong Cooper of Elkins; her maternal grandparents, Jeff and Katie Amick Watkins of Elizabeth; her paternal great-grandparents, Donald and Martha LeCrone Cooper and Nancy Horton Elders, all of Missouri; her maternal great-grandparents, Betty Bain Watkins of Elizabeth and Jess and Dorothy Waller Amick of Parkersburg; her paternal great-great-grandfather, Marvin Cooper of Missouri; and her aunts and uncle, Jennifer, Jessica and Braxton Cooper of Elkins, and Stormi Watkins of Elizabeth.
Little Vanessa is now peacefully resting in the arms of her paternal great-grandfather, James Elder; and her maternal great-grandfather, Ernest Watkins.
Private graveside services will be held at Watkins Family Cemetery in Elizabeth. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Busch Funeral Home in Elizabeth.
