V. Ruth Ketterman, 83, of Washington, D.C., died Friday, June 21, 2002, at her residence.
She was born April 16, 1919, in Elkins, the daughter of Glen W. and Jessie Ketterman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by her brother, James “Bus” Ketterman, and by her sister, Jean Ellen Cloninger.
Ruth was director of financial affairs of the Georgetown Alumni House of Georgetown University for 45 years.
Surviving are two brothers, Randall G. Ketterman, Monson, Mass., and Glenn W. Ketterman Jr., Elkins; four sisters Mrs. George (Mary) Davis, Stuart, Fla., Mrs. Phil (JoAnn) Buchanan, Clermont, Fla., Mrs. Dallas (Glennandine) Auvil, Painesville, Ohio, and Mrs. Grant (Pat) Nestor, Elkins; several nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Washington, D.C. The announcement is a courtesy of the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home.
