Glen Ray Galford, 59, of Crawford, died suddenly Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2002, in Clarksburg.
He was born Feb. 26, 1943, in Crawford, a son of Lloyd Everett and Freda Pauline Pritt Galford.
He was preceded in death by both parents and three sisters, Loyal Fonda Galford, Betty Lou Galford and Wannafae Galford; and a nephew, Benjamin James Galford.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Josephine Perkins Galford of Crawford, whom he married on Aug. 16, 1980; two brothers, Lloyd Pritt Galford of Cookeville, Tenn., and James E. Galford of Houston, Texas; one nephew, Jeffrey Galford, Pittsburgh; and two nieces, Kyler Elizabeth Galford and Malinda Susan Galford, both of Houston.
Mr. Galford had retired as a groundskeeper for the Oakbridge Country Club Golf Course in Jacksonville, Fla.
Friends will be received at Alkire Funeral Chapel in Ireland Saturday from noon until 2 p.m., with funeral services starting at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Fair Haven Cemetery
