Robert Isaiah “Robbie” Jones, 18, of Lewisburg, passed away Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002, at Pocahontas County Hospital.
Mr. Jones was born Nov. 21, 1983, at Kansas City, Mo., a son of Ronald David and Sherry Lynn Gutshall Jones.
Also surviving are maternal grandparents, Charles and Charlotte Gutshall of Liberty, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Sam and Linda Jones of Rogersville, Mo., and Pat Broom of Wichita, Kan.; and one sister, Maggie Jones of Elkins.
He was a 2002 graduate of Greenbrier East High School. He was awarded a scholarship for soccer at Sheppard College and attended the First Baptist Church in Fairlea. He worked at Movie Stars in Lewisburg.
Friends will be received at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at First Baptist Church of Fairlea Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. David Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Travis McClintic, Mark Grist, James Baker, John Montgomery, Brad Kennedy, Kevin Persinger, Todd Soucier and Jamie Turner.
