Regina Booth, 87, a resident of Roanoke, Va., and a former resident of Clarksburg, passed away at 8 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 17, 1915, at Weston, a daughter of the late Samuel F. and Elva Gertrude Radcliff Daugherty.
She was united in marriage on Sept. 25, 1936, to H. Myles Booth, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki Lynn and husband, Michael Felton, Roanoke, Va.; two sisters, Bonnie Hanson, Texas, and Dorothy Wells, Mesquite, Texas; two grandchildren, Michael Edward Felton and Kerri Middleton; one great-grandchild, Ryan Middleton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, James Daugherty; and one sister, Helen Miller.
She was formerly employed at O.J. Morrison Store in Clarksburg. She was past Worthy Matron of Order Eastern Star No. 11 of Clarksburg. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarksburg. After moving to Roanoke she attended the Bonsack Baptist Church.
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St., Philippi, after 6 p.m. today. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at Quite Dell with the Rev. Gary Rapking officiating.
