Opal Mallow Davis, 90, of Davis, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002, at Cortland Acres Nursing Home in Thomas.
She was born March 21, 1912, in Pendleton County, a daughter of the late Jasper and Lena Bennett Mallow.
She is survived by one daughter, Marie Miller of Fruitland Park, Fla.; three brothers, Forrest Mallow of Madison, Ohio, Herbert Mallow of Red Creek, and Keith Mallow of Dry Fork; one sister, Velma Ritchie of Madison, Ohio; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clement Davis; one son, one daughter, three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a farmer and was a member of the Dry Fork Assembly of God Church.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Hinkle Funeral Chapel Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Plaster officiating. Interment will follow in Buena Cemetery in Canaan Valley.
