Franklin J. “Brother” Claypool, 45, of Route 1, Box 170-1, Buckhannon, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, at 5:10 p.m. at his home in Buckhannon.
He was born May 3, 1957, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Franklin and Ellen Margaret Center Claypool.
On Nov. 23, 1996, he married Wanda Schriner Claypool, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Earl Claypool, Tony Metzler and Samuel Cody Claypool, all of Buckhannon; two daughters, Alisha Sholey and Searria Claypool, both of Buckhannon; four brothers, Russell Claypool, Charles Claypool, Lee Claypool and King Claypool, all of Buckhannon; seven sisters, Barb Smith, Betty Claypool, Margaret Norman, Martha Peck, Linda Howard, all of Buckhannon, Sherry Gould, Rock Cave, and Bonnie Neal, Buckhannon; and one uncle, Adrian Claypool, Buckhannon.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Louise Claypool.
Mr. Claypool was a timber cutter for MCM Enterprises. He attended Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.
Friends were received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home Sunday. Funeral services were held in the funeral home chapel today at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bonnie Starkey officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery.
