Jewell Helen Mauller Loudin, 90, a former resident of Valley Bend, passed away at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at Elkins.
She was born Oct. 28, 1912, at Upshur County, the daughter of the late Glen Charles and Delphia Cammie Jones Mauller.
On June 29, 1936, at Valley Bend, she was married to Gordon Franklin Loudin Sr., who preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 1992.
Surviving are two sons, Gordon Franklin Loudin Jr. of Point Pleasant, and Nicholas Glenn Loudin of Philippi; and two brothers, Noel G. Mauller and Willard L. Mauller Sr., both of Valley Bend.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, James P. Mauller and Charles Mauller.
Mrs. Loudin was a homemaker and a member of the Valley Bend United Methodist Church.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Carroll McCauley and the Rev. Donald L. Fitzwater officiating. Interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Elkins. The Tomblyn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Jewell Helen Mauller Loudin.
