Carl Lee Goodwin 1933-2002 Obituary
Carl Lee Goodwin, 69, of Route 4, Box 644, Buckhannon, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002, at his home in Buckhannon.
Mr. Goodwin was born May 22, 1933, in Ellamore, a son of the late Charles L. and Martha Shreve Goodwin.
On June 5, 1955, he married Ima Jean Ratliff Goodwin, who survives in Buckhannon.
Also surviving are four sons, Carl L. Goodwin Jr., Buckhannon, Charles Neal Goodwin, Clarksburg, Douglas A. Goodwin, Morgantown, and Kevin M. Goodwin, Buckhannon; one brother, Rev. Sherman Goodwin, Stonewood; four sisters, Mrs. Robert (Eileen) Casto, Volga, Mrs. Darrell (Betty) Waugh, Clarksburg, Mrs. John (Maxine) Lee, Gaines, and Mrs. Arnold (Marjorie) Chewning, Teter; two grandsons, Christopher S. Goodwin and Bradley L. Goodwin, both of Buckhannon; one granddaughter, Natasha E. Goodwin, Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Goodwin was a department supervisor for Corhart Refractories. He served in the National Guard. He was a member of the Tennerton Lions Club and a member of Sand Run Baptist Church.
Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home today from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Interment will follow in Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
