Helen V. Kendall, 93, of West Melbourne, Fla., died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002.
She was born in Elkins and moved to Melbourne, Fla. in 1959, from Decatur, Ill.
A dedicated member of First Christian Church, Melbourne, Fla., she was active in their Christian Womens Fellowship and NAOMI Group.
She was the wife of the late Orval Kendall.
Her survivors include her two sons, Ralph “Nick” (Virginia) Kendall of Hadley, Mass., and Roger (Anne) Kendall of Malabar, Fla.; sister, Phylda (Maurice) Morton of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Chris, Wendy, Susan and Cynthia; great-grandchildren, Heather, Meredith, Andrew, Chaeli, Noah Mac, Courtney and Jordan; and her very special friend, Frank Kolbl.
The calling hour will be Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by services at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 2010 South Babcock St., Melbourne, Fla. 32901. Donations in her memory should be made to the church. Arrangements entrusted to South Brevard Funeral Home, Melbourne, Fla.
