Thomas Lynn Collins, 56, a resident of Huttonsville, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at his home. He had been in his usual health and death was unexpected. He was born Monday, October 26, 1953 at Elkins, a son of the late George Boggs Collins and Mary White Collins. He had never married. Thomas attended the Huttonsville School and had helped his father dig graves at the Brick Church Cemetery for many years. He enjoyed hunting, especially squirrel, fishing and riding his four-wheeler. Preceding him in death besides his parents was one brother, Robert Layne Collins, and one infant sister, Patty Jean Collins. Left to cherish Thomas’ memories are two sisters, Sheila McCauley and husband, Larry, Huttonsville and Dolly Underwood Crisp and husband, Danny, Kenova, one niece, Shelby McCauley, and one nephew, Jr. Crisp. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 until 8PM. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 1 PM. Todd Corley will officiate and interment will follow at the Brick Church Cemetery at Huttonsville.
