Carl Lewis Brushingham, 58, of Elkins, WV entered into eternal rest Friday July 16, 2010 at home. He was born Friday June 20, 1952 in Boston, MA, the only child of the late Edward Parker and Lucille Eloise Shaffer Brushingham who preceded him in death on Tuesday January 18, 1977 and Wednesday May 20, 2009 respectively. Carl had been employed as a computer technician with Dell Computer for many years. He also did research work for the DNR. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing very much. He made many creative works of art form rock and wood he collected. He was honorably discharged from the US Army in Fort Benning, GA on Friday February 22, 1974 after four years of military service. Left to cherish Carl’s memories are one aunt: Hallie Williams of Fairmont, WV; one uncle: Jack Moran of Elkins, WV; companion: Pam Thoeman of Elkins, WV; several cousins; and caregivers and good friends: Shawna and Randy Sharp also of Elkins, WV. At Carl’s request his body will be cremated.
