Kevin Roger Walther, 44, a resident of Huttonsville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 15, 2010 near his home as a result of injuries sustained while working on an automobile. He was born Friday, October 22, 1965, a son of Richard M. Walther, Sr. and the late Janet Yvonne Cassell Walther. He was married to the former Stacey Lynn Pearson. He was a graduate of Pocahontas High School with the class of 1984. He enjoyed rebuilding Ford Trucks. Left to cherish his memories along with his father is his grandmother; Violet Cassell of Durbin, his wife: Stacey Walther of Martinsburg, WV; two sons: Justin Walther and wife, Kaci, of Martinsburg, WV and Matthew Walther of Fairmont, WV; one daughter: Janet Walther of Charles Town, one step daughter; Jessie Pearson of Martinsburg, two brothers: Richard Walther and wife, Tina of Durbin, and Kenny and wife, Wilma of Valley Bend, two sisters; Penny Walther of Huttonsville and Michele Walther of Hinton, one grandson, Owen Walther, two step grandchildren; Jecina Pearson and Micial Pearson, and several nieces and nephews. Kevin’s body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
