Roger Dale Fortney, age 60, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born November 30, 1949 in Kesling Mill, WV, a son of the late John Dale and Delores Josephine Wright Fortney. On June 14, 1969 Roger was married to Dorris Renee Williams who survives. Also surviving are a son, Roger Dale Fortney, Jr. of Buckhannon; a step mother, Portia M. Fortney of Buckhannon and three sisters, Shirley Jo Gassnola of Alum Bridge, WV and Alice “Charlene” Malcolm and Sharon Ann Stackpole both of Buckhannon. Roger was a foreman for J B Energy, served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and attended Kesling Mill United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
