Wanda Lyvooh Curtis, age 73, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at her home under the care of People’s Hospice of Clarksburg, WV. She was born August 16, 1936 in Webster Co., a daughter of the late Henry Perrine and Mildred Zoe Knicely Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Burl A. Curtis; two daughters, Mary Goldsmith, and Edna Sue Burkhammer; one son Bernard Garrison Ocheltree; one grandson, Michael Gibson; first husband Clyde Garrison and 6 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Mildred Swiger and husband Dave of Buckhannon; two sons, Randel Garrison and wife Robin of Buckhannon and Charles Garrison and wife Lisa of Weston, WV; fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack Perrine and wife Ida of Buckhannon; two step sisters, Christine Lipps and Judy Riffle both of Buckhannon and two step brothers, Melvin Smith and Frank Smith both of Buckhannon. Mrs. Curtis was a homemaker. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with Doy Ocheltree officiating. Burial will follow at the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
