Betty June Bailey, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, May 21, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born December 29, 1925 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Oma Cochran Strader. On November 10, 1949 she married Calvin A. Bailey who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Connie Gregory and husband Larry of Buckhannon; one grandson, Shawn Hanifan and wife Risë of Buckhannon; one sister, Patty Stalnaker and husband Forrest of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bailey was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, Chapter # 18 Order Eastern Star and the Upshur County Shrine Aux. Friends will be received Monday, May 24, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
