Linda Margaret Bland Smith 1944-2010 Obituary
Linda Margaret Bland Smith, age 66, of Buckhannon, WV the Excelsior Community died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at her home.
She was born May 9, 1944 in Wetzel Co. a daughter of the late John and Edna Burton Bland.
On December 24, 1999 she married Allen K. “Slick” Smith who survives.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Jodi Stoffel and husband Gregory of Beallsville, OH; one son Dean Fitzsimmons and wife Kim of St. Mary’s WV; two step sons, James Smith of Miami, FL and Brian Smith and wife Peggy of Bemis, WV; 9 grandchildren; one brother, Larry Bland of Holbrook, PA and one sister, Erma Pfender of Shreveport, LA. She was the owner and operator of Linda’s Rustic Corner. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Friends will be received Monday, October 25, 2010 from 5-9 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 2:30 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow at the Sand Run Baptist Church Cemetery.
