Aleta Dee Nelson, age 63, of Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born December 27, 1946 in Maryland. On July 17, 1995 she married James Shaver who survives. Also surviving are one son, James Absher of WV; her dog, Peeper; mother-in-law, Carole Overfield of Buckhannon; two brother-in-laws, Rod Shaver and wife Rosa of Buckhannon and Randy Tenney and wife Angela of Buckhannon; one sister-in-law, Tina Lewis and husband Dave of Buckhannon; five nieces, Kayla Long, Jordan Shaver, Morgan Tenney, Cassie Tenney and Emily Tenney all of Buckhannon; and one nephew, Seth Shaver of Buckhannon. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, John Overfield and one sister-in-law, Dodie Tenney. She was a baker. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
