JAMES RAY NESTOR 1939-2010 Obituary
JAMES RAY NESTOR, age 70 years, a resident of the Pheasant Run Community, Kerens, WV, departed this life Friday morning, June 11, 2010 at his home.
He was born Wednesday, December 6, 1939 at St. George, WV, a son of the late Dennis Ray Nestor and Nellie Goldie Poling Schilansky.
Surviving are one son, Robbie Jeffries and one daughter, Tammy Jeffries, both of Virginia; two sisters, Ronda Carolyn Nestor of Kerens and Mildred Patsy Bleckley of Georgia, several grandchildren and nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He attended the schools of Tucker County.
He was a logger and carpenter and was employed with J & B Cleaners in Virginia as a high rise window washer.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM.
On Wednesday morning, Mr. Nestor will be moved to the Parsons City Cemetery, where graveside services will be conducted at 12 Noon.
The Rev. Pat Cassidy will officiate and interment will follow.
