BETTY LUCILLE MEADER COST, age 78 years, a resident of Elkins, WV departed this life Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Hospice Care Regional Inpatient Center.
She was born Sunday, December 27, 1931 at Randolph County, WV. On January 22, 1955 at Monterey, VA she was married to James M. Cost, who survives. They had celebrated fifty-five years of marriage. Also surviving are two daughters, Marsha Lynn Gardner and husband Barry, Elkins; Karen Leigh Wilmoth and husband Bob, Elkins; three grandchildren, Adrienne Bell and husband Charles, Mill Creek; Stephanie White and husband Matt, Morgantown; and Jessica Wilmoth, Elkins; and four great grandchildren, Lindsey, Emma and Owen Bell and Kayleigh White.
She attended the schools of Elkins High School with the Class of 1949, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkins for sixty-one years.
A Private Viewing and Graveside Service will be conducted at the Elkins Memorial Gardens on the Airport Road, Elkins, WV. The Rev. Dr. Marvin L. Parli will officiate and interment will follow.
