Elfreda Mayle Elfreda Mayle, 60, of Morral Hollow Road, Philippi, died Friday, September 24, at her home, under the care of Mountain Hospice and following an extended illness. She was born November 14, 1949, at Philippi, a daughter of the late Floyd and Wyonia (Newman) Mayle. Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Morgan, Ramseur, N.C., Candy Anderson and husband, Nick, Asheboro, N.C., Irene Michelle Mayle, Philippi; one son, Ron Christopher Mayle and wife, Cassie, Philippi; her lifetime companion, Alfred Kelley, Philippi, one sister, Irene Mayle, Philippi; one brother, Carney Mayle, Philippi; eleven grandchildren, Steven Ridenour, Zachary Ridenour, Brooklyn Jade Mayle, Emmanuel Stevens, Dante Mayle, Kierstynn Kennedy, Chad Kennedy, Kyler Mayle, Kane Stevens, Cole Mayle and Payton Ella Mychell Mayle. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Mayle, Sandra Lee Fisher and Wanda Brandon; by five brothers, Donald Mayle, Charles Mayle, Herbert Mayle, Harold Mayle and Frank Mayle. Ms. Mayle was a homemaker and was a member of the Gospel of Jesus Christ Ministries Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 28, from the Stemple Forman Funeral Home, 385 So. Main Street, Philippi. The Rev. Wilbert Mayle will officiate and interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery. Friends mcy call at the funeral home from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Monday and from 9:00 until 2:00 P.M., the funeral hour on Tuesday.
