Elinor “Annette” Brooks, age 68, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born August 24, 1942 in Wilcox County, GA, a daughter of the late Roy C. and Nadine Hannah Blackstock. On August 28, 1973 she married Tommy Lee Brooks who survives. Also surviving are one son, Keith Leavengood of Barrackville, WV; one daughter, Tammie Nelson and husband Johnathan of Lebanon, PA; one grandson, Justin Cannon of TX; one granddaughter, Addison Izzo of Lebanon and one sister. Essie Steele of Summerfield, FL. Mrs. Brooks was a Registered Nurse. She loved animals and crafts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Blackstock. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
