Irene G. Lemley, age 93, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon. She was born January 29, 1918 in Webster County, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Cora Belle Sparks Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Kermon Lemley who died on December 27, 1996. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Carlos Brown. She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Snyder and husband Richard of Charlotte, NC, Sandra Sue Boni and husband Terrence of Charleroi, PA, Karon King and husband Ross L. of Buckhannon and Lynelle Marie Lemley of Buckhannon; five granddaughters, Lisa Dawn Snyder of Charlotte, Leah Boni of Greensburg, PA, Robin Nicodemus of Monessen, PA, Debora Lynn Foster of Buckhannon and Vickie Rae Mason and husband Todd of Fincastle, VA; one grandson, David King and wife Anita of Buckhannon and three great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. Mrs. Lemley was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Friends will be received Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon. Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
