Dewey Junior Stone, age 87, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his home. He was born November 28, 1923 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Dewey Dale and Ilene Carrie Warner Stone. On February 2, 1946 he married Betty Lee Queen who survives. Also surviving are one son, Dale Eugene Stone and wife Janet Kay of Poway, CA; one daughter, Judy White and husband Calvin of Buckhannon; five granddaughters, Misty Stone of Whippany, NJ, Tiffany Reed and husband Patrick of Randolph, NJ, Whitney Stone of Walnut Creek, CA, Christine Knibloe and husband Jim of Tucson, AZ and Leslie White of Amherst, VA and two great-grandsons, Kaiden Reed of Randolph and Elliott Knibloe of Tucson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Billie and Paul Stone. Mr. Stone was a carpenter and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Friends will be received Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
