Leonard “Lennie” Dwight Hedrick, 59, of Parsons, WV entered into eternal rest early Monday morning February 21, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born Saturday July 28, 1951 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late Lewis and Velma Nestor Hedrick. He was employed as a truck mechanic for several years in the Baltimore, MD area. Leonard was of the Lutheran faith. He enjoyed spending time with his cat “Miss Kitty”. He was preceded in death by his wife Susan Moser Hedrick. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his twin brother: Lewis Dewayne Hedrick. Left to cherish his memories are one son: Leonard Hedrick address unknown; two sisters: Patricia Carraway of Parsons, WV and Janice Palmer of NJ; ex-wife: Carol Buckett of Baltimore, MD; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thursday February 24, 2011 at The Summerfield Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday February 24 at the funeral home chapel with Pastor John Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Parsons City Cemetery in Parsons, WV.
