Carol Ann Swecker Waybright Maxson, 71, of Elkins, WV entered into eternal rest early afternoon Wednesday February 23, 2011 at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins, WV surrounded by family. She was born on Saturday September 30, 1939 in Monterville, WV, a daughter of the late Ura and Hattie Swecker. Carol attended the schools of Randolph County, WV. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting. In her later years she liked watching the birds outside of her living room window. She enjoyed reading and studying her Bible. She was fortunate enough to have several grandchildren whom she loved dearly and was very proud of.She enjoyed showing their pictures to guests in her home and telling special stories about each of them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Jackie Swecker. Left to cherish her memories are one daughter: Anita Waybright of Elkins, WV; five sons: Greg Waybright and wife Julie of Whitmer, WV, Clark Waybright of Elkins, WV, Marty Waybright and wife Christina of Belington, WV; Rodney Waybright address unknown and Wayne Waybright address unknown; several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister: Shirley “Cookie” Stalnaker of Cravensdale, WV and many friends. The family will have a private Celebration of Life honoring Carol.
