Ricky Lee Haden, Jr., age 19, a resident of Mill Creek, passed from this life Monday afternoon, August 1, 2011, near Sutton, as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident and is now Heaven Bound. He was born Tuesday, May 19, 1992 at Elkins a son of Ricky Lee Haden, Sr. and Juanita M.Y. Forinash Haden who survive at Mill Creek. Ricky was a graduate of Tygart Valley High School with the class of 2010 and had completed one year at Fairmont State. He was a very intelligent young man that longed to fly, loved to read, sing, play music which included all percussion instruments, the piano and the guitar, he wrote poetry which he had planned to put in a book for publication, and he loved to make people laugh. He also loved his family, friends, and his dog, “IzzyBug”. He was a member of Markley Chapel. Left to cherish Ricky’s memory besides his parents are three sisters, Amanda Dawn Summerfield and husband, Matt of Valley Bend, Brittany Nicole Haden of the Georgetown Road, and Holly Noel Haden of Mill Creek, one niece, Alexis Mariah Summerfield of Valley Bend and one nephew, Bryant Matthew Summerfield of Valley Bend, maternal grandparents, Patricia Forinash of Conawingo, MD, and Kenneth Raymond Forinash I of Martinsville, VA, paternal grandmother, Geraldine Mulhanes of Indianapolis, IN, five aunts, Pat Phillips and husband, Doug of Mabie, Quainita Davis of Indianapolis, IN, Wanda Snelson and husband, John of Ohio, Barbara Roland and husband, Joe of Conawingo, MD, Tami Zirkle and husband, Brock of Martinsburg, three uncles, Marvin “Cookie” Haden of Indiana, Kenneth Raymond Forinash II and wife, Lynn of North Carolina, and Sean Forinash and wife, Ethel of South Carolina, and several cousins, great aunts and great uncles, and a special companion, Rebecca Loudermilk. Preceding Ricky in death is his paternal grandfather, William Delbert Haden, paternal step grandmother, Sylvia K. Haden, maternal great grandmother, Dale B. Forinash and maternal great grandfather, Raymond Kent Forinash, two uncles, William Boyd “Billy” Haden and Gerald Delbert Haden, and a special friend, Pastor Dave Slawter. Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Friday from 5 until 8 PM. On Saturday, August 6, 2011, Ricky will be moved to the Mill Creek Memorial Mission Church where friends may call from 12 noon until 1PM, the funeral hour. Reverend Dave Bickel will officiate and interment will follow at the Brick Church Cemetery at Huttonsville. A dinner will follow the services at the Mill Creek Senior Center.
