Dorothy V. Murray Beall, age 88 years, a resident of Maple Lane, Elkins, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at her home. She was born March 26, 1923 at Baltimore, a daughter of the late Francis Guy and Neva Meyer Murray. On November 24, 1948 at Baltimore, she was married to the late Harvey Beall who preceded her in death July 1995. Mrs. Beall graduated from Western High School in Baltimore and attended Strayer’s Business College. She worked in the Baltimore area for several years and at the time of her marriage, along with her late husband, was an instructor and supervisor with the Arthur Murray School of Dance. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Beall and wife Betty and Jason Beall, all of Elkins, two grandchildren, Jennifer Woods and Brian Beall and one great grandchild, Kayla Woods, also of Elkins. At Mrs. Beall’s request, her remains were cremated. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2011 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Thursday from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dewaine Corley officiating.
