Mr. John Robert Kelly, age 68 years, a resident of the Elkins Manor, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at his home. He was born April 20, 1943, a son of the late Henry Kelly and Hannah Kelly. He is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Kelly, of Port Clinton, OH and Joyce Marie Perez and two sons, Anthony John Kelly and John Robert Kelly, Jr. Two step daughters, Julie Louke, of Port Clinton, OH and Nola (Masi) Ruble, of Kent, OH, two brothers, Jim Kelly, of Elkins and Hank Kelly, of Ravenna, OH and one sister, Kay Kelly of Elkins. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, his loving companion, Cindy Currence of Elkins and her dog Coco. Also preceding him in death were two brothers and one sister. Mr. Kelly had worked as a steel worker before becoming disabled. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and digging ramps.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Mr. Kelly will then be moved to the Elkins Memorial Gardens where interment will follow.
