Elmer Omer Varner, 71, a resident of Elkins passed from this life August 23, 2011 at the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center. He was born on Saturday, March 16, 1940 at Elkins a son of the late Wallace Varner and Cleo Schoonover Varner. He had attended the schools of Randolph County and was a Truck Driver for several local saw mills including Jackson’s Saw Mill, Canfield’s Saw Mill, and Coastal Lumber Company. At his request, Mr. Varner’s body was cremated.
