Timothy Earl Raines, 41, a resident of Elkins passed from this life Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Davis Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was born on Wednesday, September 2, 1970 in Elkins, a son of the late Kenneth Raines and Katherine Jean Hess Raines. He is survived by his uncle, Roger Hess of Elkins and many friends. He attended the schools of Randolph County and Ohio, had worked at several jobs including driving a taxi cab in the Elkins area. At Tim’s request, his body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
