Donna Marie Allender 1960-2011 Obituary
Donna Marie Allender, 51, a resident of the Pheasant Run Community passed from this life Tuesday afternoon, November 22, 2011 at the Hospice Inpatient Center in Elkins.
She was born Tuesday, July 12, 1960 at Parsons a daughter of Harry Jackson “Jack” Allender and Doris Maxine Ward Allender who survive in the Pheasant Run Community.
She was never married.
She is also survived by one sister, Penny Tuesing and husband, Fred of Hambleton, one brother, Jacky W. Allender and wife, Carrie of Pheasant Run, one half brother, Paul Richard “Rick” Ward of Pheasant Run, six nieces and nephews, Haley and Wesley Allender, Misty Ritter and husband, Mike, and their children, Laylah and Austin, Dennis “DJ” Wolford, Ricky Ward Jr. and his son, and Joyce Kensel and her three children.
Donna was preceded in death by one sister, Terry Wolford and two half brothers, Ronald Ward and Donald Ward.
She was a graduate of Parsons High School and she attended Irons Chapel Church. She enjoyed yard work, gardening, painting, cooking, collecting knick knacks, decorating, and she loved spending time with children and dressing up as Santa Claus for the children at Christmas.
Donna was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend to all. Visitation will be held at the Summerfield Funeral Home of Parsons on Friday from 5 until 8 PM.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 26 at 1 PM.
The Reverend Mike Lantz will officiate and interment will follow at the Parsons City Cemetery.
