Sally Eileen Ball McPherson Flubarger, age 62 years, a resident of Elkins, WV passed from this life early Wednesday morning, November 23. 2011 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown, WV. She was born Tuesday, June 7, 1949 at Akron, OH a daughter of the late James Howard Ball and Lillian Marjorie Sharp Ball Booth Barker. On April 9, 1987 at Elkins, WV she was married to John Leonard Flubarger, who survives. Also surviving are one son, James M. McPherson and wife Rebecca, Pittsburgh, PA; one daughter, Kathryn Eileen Marsh and husband Dan, French Creek; three brothers, Jerry Allen Ball and wife Kitty, Elkins; James Howard Ball, OH; William “Bill” Ball and wife Tammy, OH; six sisters, Lillian Marjorie Booth; Cheryl Hinton and husband Ron; Laurel Stanley and husband David; and Merry Nutter, all of Parkersburg; Karen Moles and husband John, Akron, OH; Brenda Woolsey, NC; nine grand- children, Patrick Ross and wife Suelinn; Andrew Ross; Jaimie Ross; Samantha Yoakum and husband Daniel; Larissa McPherson; Ashley McPherson; Angela Nicole McPherson; David James McPherson; and Joshua Roberts; and six great grandchildren, Kaela Bowers; Keenen Bowers; Patrick Ross, II; Miles Ross; Alisa Yoakum; and Madison Yoakum. Preceding her in death are one brother, Timothy Ball. She attended the schools of Windham, OH, was a homemaker and prior to her illness had worked as a clerk at the former G. C. Murphy Company and the former Revco Drug Store. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 2 until 4 PM, the funeral hour. The Reverend Leon Brown will officiate and Sally’s request for cremation will then be honored.
