Pamala Eileene Brock Hammer, 51, a resident of Elkins passed from this life November 30, 2011 near her home. She was born Friday, February 12, 1960 at Columbus, OH a daughter of the late Franklin Delanor Brock and Gertrude “Judy” Moore Brock. On September 3, 1988 at Huber Heights, OH, she was married to Brian Keith Hammer, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ronald E. Weaver and Anthony S. Brock, both of Dayton, OH, three daughters, Desarae Mullens of Tennessee, Rachael Johnson of Dayton, OH, and Kristen Johnson with whom she made her home in Elkins, two brothers, Ricky Brock and Franky Brock, both of Dayton, OH, and thirteen grandchildren. Pamala was preceded in death by one sister, Anita Lewis. She had attended the Cleveland School of Dayton, OH and had worked in the nursing field before becoming disabled. She was a member of Degree of Honor Foundation which is dedicated to supporting the charitable, educational and service activities of its members, their communities, and the greater good of mankind. Pamala’s request for cremation was honored. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 11, 2011, beginning at 5:00 p.m., at the Hampton Inn of Elkins, in the Conference Room. Pastor Joey Ridenour will officiate.
