Neely Bell See, age 83, a resident of Huttonsville, WV, passed from this life Friday, October 28, 2011, at the Davis Memorial Hospital, Elkins, WV. Mr. See was born October 10, 1928, at Elkwater, WV, the son of Dorse See and Ruth Channell See. On April 8, 1955 in Huttonsville, WV, Mr. See married Bernice Howard who is deceased. He is survived by his grandchildren, Larry Allen Fullen of Texas and Robert Fullen of Virginia; two brothers, Darrell See and wife Elsie of Elkwater WV, and James Richard See and wife Cheryl of Pottstown PA; and two sisters, Doris See Wood of Mingo WV, and Peggy See Konitsney of Warren OH. Mr. See was preceded in death by his son Robert See in 2001, and by his daughter Vera Ellen See Fullen in 1999,and by his brothers George, Glen and Franklin See. Mr. See was a 1947 graduate of Tygarts Valley High School. He entered the United States Army on January 17, 1951, was a member of the 139th Engineer Float Bridge Company stationed in Germany, and received an honorable discharge December 24, 1952. Mr. See was employed by the West Virginia Department of Transportation. He later moved to Ohio where he was employed by the ITT Grinnell Corporation for 30 years. Upon his retirement, he returned to Randolph County. Mr. See was a member of the H. W. Daniels American Legion Post 29, Elkins. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Mr. See’s request for cremation was honored. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
