Elsie Irene Dolly Weese 1943-2011 Obituary
Elsie Irene “Dolly” Weese, age 67 years, a resident of Beverly, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, March 18, 2011 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born October 29, 1943 at Beverly, a daughter of the late George E. and Virgie Chenoweth Lewis. She was married to Leonard Weese who preceded her in death. Surviving are three daughters, Cindy Hardy and husband Brad, Petersburg, WV, Ella Grace Taylor and husband Kevin, Beverly and Tanya Shrader and husband Steve of Beverly. One son, Dee Hinchman, Beverly, ten grandchildren, Bradley and Nicholas Hardy, Brittany, Andrea, Kierston Hinchman, Alex, Dalton and Abby Taylor and Katie and Tyler Shrader, one great grandchild, Carter Hardy, four sisters, Thelma Lewis, Beverly, Velma McElwee and husband Russell, Beverly, Ruby Phillips and husband William, Moorefield, Lea Price, Elkins, one brother, Jay Lewis and wife Darlene, Beverly, Sandra Sisler who was considered a daughter by Mrs. Weese and several nieces and nephews also survive. Also preceding her in death was one son, Jason, one sister, Helen Hinchman and eight brothers, Earnest, Aven, Pete, Jack, Sonny, Willard, Alvin “Buddy” and Mack David Lewis.
Mrs. Weese was a homemaker.
Mrs. Weese’s remains will be cremated. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the AG Complex Building at Camp Pioneer, Beverly, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice in memory of Mrs. Weese. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Elsie Irene “Dolly” Weese.
