VICTORIA DAVIS LIPSCOMB, age 60 years, a resident of Hambleton, WV departed this life Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Davis Memorial Hospital at Elkins, WV. She had been in declining health.
She was born Tuesday, June 19, 1951 at Harman, WV, a daughter of late Howard “Springy” and June Teter Davis. She was thrice married. First to Melvin “Junior” Lowther, Jr., who preceded her in death and second to Dearl Simmons, who also preceded her in death and third to Ronald Lipsomb, who survives at Hambleton, WV.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sarah June Lowther Lantz of Parsons and Sandra Lowther Trepanier of Seattle, WA; four grandchildren, Rebecca, Clinton, Samantha, and Matraca; five great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Trinity, Tori, Cordell and Bella.
Preceding her in death is one sister, Betty Davis Thorne.
She attended the schools of Tucker County. She was a member of the Hendricks Church of God. She loved flowers, camping, bike riding crafts and she was an avid cook.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Parsons on Thursday from 5 to 8 PM. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home parlor on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 1:30 PM. The Rev. Emery Surguy will officiate and interment will follow at the Bethel Cemetery at Holly Meadows.
