James Lee Haskins, age 56, of Monroe, NC died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. He was born June 25, 1954 in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late John T. Haskins, Sr. and Oma Smith Haskins. He is survived by one brother, John T. Haskins, Jr., and wife Judy of Buckhannon; one nephew, Jonathan Haskins of Buckhannon; one niece, Amanda Jones and husband J.W. of Elkins, WV and one great-niece, Kourtney Jones of Elkins. Mr. Haskins was a High School Teacher at Butler High School. Friends will be received Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Bend Church Cemetery at Sago, WV.
