Dora Belle Bunner, age 81, of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born October 13, 1929 in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Hugh Wallace and Chloe Belle Heater Simons. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Raymond Bunner who died on December 19, 1974; one daughter, Hilda Bunner; one grandson, Shane Simons; one brother, Lonnie Simons and one sister, Emma Nutter. She is survived by two daughters, Charlene Prunty and husband Ralph and Carol Stump all of Volga, WV; one son, Bernard Simons and wife Nancy of Altha, FL; three grandsons, Jason Stump of Volga, Chad Simons of Ringgold, GA and William Prunty of Bridgeport, WV; two granddaughters, Staci Stump and Tonya White both of Volga and eleven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Bunner was a homemaker. Friends will be received Friday, April 22, 2011 from 1-3 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rick Cutright officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery.
