Deborah Ann Butts, age 51, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born January 14, 1960 in Elmira, NY, a daughter of the late Frederick Gene Rice, Sr., and Martha Lee White Rice. On October 15, 1983 she married James M. Butts who survives. Also, surviving are one son, Royce Allen Cooley, Jr., of Buckhannon; one daughter, Elizabeth Butts of Buckhannon; one grandson, Michael Robinson of Buckhannon; three brothers, Frederick G. Rice of Buckhannon, Donald E. Rice and wife Sherri of Tuscaloosa, AL and Clifford A. Rice of Buckhannon and one sister, Trina R. Rossi of Buckhannon. Deborah had been a Certified Nursing Assistant for Holbrook’s Nursing Home. She was a volunteer and athlete for the Upshur County Special Olympics and helped with various fund raisers. Friends will be received Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 1-2 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home wit the Rev. J.
