Susan Cornelia (Bailey) Quick, age 87, of Elkins, WV died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center. She was born July 18, 1923 in Tallmansville, WV, a daughter of the late John and Martha Bird Bailey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Dane Quick; three sons, Myron, William and Ronald Quick; one daughter, Pamela Murray and five brothers and six sisters. She is survived by son in law, Leslie Joseph Murray of Smicksburg, PA; two sons, Dane Quick of Elkins and Joseph Quick and wife Audrey of MD; three granddaughters, Brenda Shumaker and husband Randy of Brookville, PA, Lesa Quick of Brookville and Shirley Quick of Punxsutawney, PA; three grandsons, Ronald Greg Quick and wife Darla of Worthville, PA, Adam J. Sprankle and wife Lauren of Elizabeth, PA and Eric L. Sprankle and wife Pamela of Punxsutawney; ten great-grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; eleven step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last remaining member of her immediate family. She was a member of the Good Hope Tabernacle Church. Friends will be received Monday, May 23, 2011 from 1-3 PM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Holly Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Tallmansville, WV.
