Johnny J. Roth, age 88, of Elkins, WV died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Nella’s Nursing Home in Crystal Springs, WV. He was born January 20, 1923 in Boggs, WV, a son of the late John D. and Mary Kettle Roth. On January 3, 1950 he married Beulah Huffman who preceded him in death on June 4, 2001. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one son, Lennie Roth; two sisters and one brother. He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Farrar and husband Elra of Buckhannon and Barbara Farrar of Chardon, OH; two sons, Kester Roth and wife Rezena of Crystal Springs and Loye Roth and wife Carol of Rock Cave, WV; four grandson, Curtis and Brandon Roth of Crystal Springs, Loren Farrar and wife Susan of Rock Cave and Travis Roth and wife Stephanie of Walkersville, WV; three granddaughters, Sonya Bennett and husband David of Buckhannon, Ashley Roth of Buckhannon and Sarah Jones of Rock Cave; four great grandchildren and one sister, Katie Lewis and husband Richard of Selbyville, WV. Mr. Roth, was a custodian for Randolph County Schools. He loved the outdoors. Friends will be received Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9-10 AM at the Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home. Funerals service will be held 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Doyal Witt officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Dale Church Cemetery in Selbyville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Johnny’s name to the Upshur County Humane Society or your favorite charity.
